This is one of my favourite green smoothies, it is so fresh whilst feeling more gentle than most green smoothies as some can be a little over-powering on both your palette and your digestion if you know what I mean! But this one eases you into all things green and tastes delicious.
The coconut water is a great addition because it is naturally sweet whilst being easier on your blood sugar levels than apple juice so you get all the benefits of those greens!
It alkalises and soothes, nourishes yet detoxifies…I think this is a BeUtiful smoothie!
The Ingredients & The Love..
- 2/3 cup of cucumber, peeled
- 1 cup of fresh pineapple
- 2 handfuls of spinach leaves
- 1 whole lime, peeled
- 1 can of coconut water (fresh or natural brand with no added sugar or anything!)
- 1 teaspoon of Spirulina Powder (optional)
Blend all ingredients and sprinkle with an extra dose of foodie love with chia seeds…
