This is not for the faint hearted, you need to be able to handle pleasure! It is full on with deliciousness which is equally matched by its nutrition prowess! I had it for breakfast but it could also be a dessert or even a mid afternoon pick me up!
Too often we try to separate eating and pleasure, we have been taught that we shouldn’t eat for pleasure and this is what makes us fat! Instead, we should be eating to fuel our body, to provide it with the right mix of nutrients for it to function optimally. However, this goes against our nature, food, whilst providing vital nutrients, is also a natural source of pleasure and nature did intend this…
Can you really think of anything more pleasurable than feeding your body with Mother Natures abundant array of pure life energy filled foods and experiencing the flavours and aromas that excite all of your senses…I guess apart from the obvious other equally beautiful source of pleasure?!
Food takes centre stage during celebrations throughout all cultures and civilisations, it is in our nature that as we connect with the nature of the earth, sun, moon and stars through putting food into our body, that this too is a celebration and a pleasure. Trying to eat in a way that is devoid of this natural behaviour is the reason why so many of us are still starving…regardless of how many Weight Watchers biscuits or bowls of Special K we have eaten!
Pleasure, my lovelies, is our natural birth right, and if we cannot take pleasure from feeding our own body then we will never be able to fill our cravings.
So, moral of the story, mantra of the day, I eat the food that me and my body love and that loves me and my body in return. Listen to your body, what foods make you feel good, before, during and crucially after you have eaten? Feel good and eat, eat and then feel good some more…now thats nutrition!

Mix all of these ingredients and allow to set for around 10 minutes.
Once set you begin layering for your Banoffee!

Layer some of the crumble over the chia, then the Raw Peanut Butter over the crumble and then slice the banana and arrange over the peanut butter.
