This smoothie really doesn’t need an introduction, I mean, peaches and cream, how could one resist?!
It also happens to be completely vegan, despite the mention of ‘cream’, and super easy to make. Peaches are a wonderful fruit with their orangey yellow colour which really energises and supports the sacral chakra and its associated organs. It is a grounding and nourishing smoothie that makes you feel happily satisfied, both physically and energetically, actually giving you the sensation of filling that empty, bottomless hole feeling many of us get in our tummy’s. If you are feeling nervous, anxious or stressed then this is the smoothie for you!
- 3 peaches
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon camu camu powder (optional)
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Manuka honey
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseeds
To make the bottom layer simply blend 2 1/2 peaches with the coconut water. I like to make it very thick but if you prefer you can add more coconut water. If you like your smoothies to taste chilled then freeze one of the peaches the night before and use this. Once smooth pour into your serving glass.
For the ‘cream’, in the blender put the banana and almond milk, the thicker this is the better in my opinion so add the almond milk slowly. If you like you could always add some sachi inch vegan protein powder. Once smooth simply pour over the peaches smoothie.
To top, slice the 1/2 peach left over and arrange on top of with ground flaxseeds and honey.
