Persimmons are my new favourite fruit, they have the most amazing texture that makes smoothies that are nothing short of luxurious and super indulgent. They have a caramel flavour which I love whilst being abundant with nutrition too.
They are excellent for soothing and nourishing the central nervous and immune systems, especially good for those that are stressed and exhausted, physically, mentally or emotionally.
They are a rich source of many antioxidants including betacarotene which is essential for Vitamin A production and helps keep cells nice and health and cancer free. The orange colour also mean they energise the sacral chakra helping hormones and digestion whilst nourishing both the liver and the spleen. Packed with fibre too…

- 2 Persimmons (ripe & peeled)
- 1/2 cup of Almond Milk (unsweetened)
- 1 Passionfruit for topping
- 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds for topping
Blend the persimmons and almond milk, adding more milk if you prefer a lighter consistency. Pour into your jar and top with a scoop of the passionfruit and sprinkled chia seeds.
